Unlike most condo associations, if you still want to take part in some gardening, we welcome your creativity and contributions in designated areas. Our beautiful grounds is one of the assets of this property. Thanks to everyone who helped this spring! Here we've captured Deb, Ann, Mike and Phil in full force.
These delicate looking perennials are some of the first flowers to bloom in the Spring at EBV. They opened this week. During the day, they wake up at dawn and then follow the sun until in the evening when they close up again...until tomorrow when the show repeats itself. I have them in a partially sunny area along the fence and over the years they have spread well and require no particular care. ~ Amy Ashwood
Amidst our Community Park someone, years ago, blessed us with a lovely perennial garden. As long as there is interest, this is maintained by the residents and offers a chance for those who love to express themselves through the language of flowers and landscape architecture. Throughout our grounds there are also other beds that the residents maintain and help beautify, as well as, personalize, our grounds.
In hopes of marking the seasons, in this blog, we'll attempt to capture some of these wonders as they bloom. |
AuthorsThis Blog is open for all of the Residents at Edgewater Bluff Villas to participate. It is our hope that we collect a natural history of beauties that grace our grounds and surrounding areas. We'd love to see your plants, flowers or animals, including their names, and tell us something about them. Also feel free to add anything else that marks what's happening here at EBV: shuffleboard tournaments, Pickle Ball games, social gatherings, pictures with recipes that you'd like to share. You can send me your photos and explanations and I'll upload them, then you can all add comments. Let's hope we gather a grand visual to hold onto for time to come. For this to be easily accessible, add it to your favorites bar for quick reference. Archives
